Recognizing GC4 Donors: Partners & Patrons
Explore our special shoutouts to GC4 donors who have given $15,000 - $50,000.
GC4 donors are our lifeblood. They are the heart that beats to keep us going — and growing.
When you enter the new GC4 building, you immediately see large plaques thanking all the generous donors who contributed $1,000 or more. Read our recent article to see examples of these beautiful pieces.
Once we designed the core plaques in our entryway, we wanted even more ways to give unique recognition to our generous contributors that donated $15,000 to $50,000, who we call Partners ($15,000 - $24,999) and Patrons ($25,000-$50,000).
We had the fun task of working with ATURA Architecture to design special plaques for outdoor benches dedicated to our Partners, and adorable, animal-themed classroom signs for our Patrons. This was truly a delightful project that got our creative juices really flowing!
Our GC4 Patrons ($25,000-$50,000) include:
- Community Foundation of Hancock County
- Iowa Mold Tooling
- Hanson Foundation
- Kinney-Lindstrom Foundation
- Plas-Tech Tooling
- Gold Eagle Cooperative
- Weiland Farms
- In memory of Sheryll Denney
Here are some examples of the classroom signs in the wild (pun intended ;))...

Our GC4 Partners ($15,000 - $24,999) include:
- Atura Architecture
- City of Garner
- Hancock County Economic Development
- Clear Lake Bank & Trust
- Reliance State Bank
Below are artist renderings and on-site photos of two of the benches the give students, teachers, and parents a nice place to rest and relax while having fun on our playgrounds.

A huge thanks to ATURA and especially our main graphic designer Logan Bahler; our GC4 board member Melissa Norman, who came up with the playful, alliterative, and biblically-themed classroom animals; and, of course, our very generous donors. Even the coolest plaques will never be enough to express how truly grateful we are for your investments in Hancock County child care!
