Official Groundbreaking June 13, 2025!

We were shovel-ready to start construction on the new GC4 center!

On June 13, we hosted our groundbreaking ceremony for the new center at the corner of West Lyons and Division streets in Garner!! Some of our strongest shoveling students were on hand to help, along with project team representatives from ATURA architecture, Sande Construction, and North Central Iowa Service, LLC.

This marks a major milestone in our capital campaign – construction is officially underway! A HUGE THANKS to every single sponsor and family member who has helped get us to this point. We absolutely could not do it without you. We're feeling very blessed!!

Adults in attendance included: Mitch Fridolfson (Project lead North Central Iowa Service), Nick Sewell (Project Manager for Sande Construction), Melissa Norman (GC4 parent and board member) Sara Jones (GC4 Summer Program Lead), Natalie Larson (GC4 Assistant Director), Reid Weiland (GC4 Board Chairman), and Austin Pehl (Business Development Manager Atura Architecture).
