Hanson Family Foundation and MBT Bank gift a combined $35,000 to GC4
The organizations are committed to local impact through philanthropy and community investment.
We’re delighted to announce that the Hanson Family Foundation and MBT Bank have made a generous gift of $35,000 to Garner Community Christian Child Care. The investment will help support the expansion of GC4, which just broke ground at our new location near GHV High School in June.
Since 1970, the Hanson Family Foundation has granted more than $75 million to various non-profit and public entities. Their mission is to strengthen and enhance the quality of life in north central Iowa, where they started Winnebago Industries in 1958, and in neighboring Minnesota, where MBT Bank (the current family business) has expanded to include branch locations.
Since 1945, MBT Bank has focused on improving services to better the lives of customers and the communities they serve. From its inception, MBT Bank’s growth has stemmed from making fiscally responsible decisions, while reinvesting in worthwhile organizations throughout our communities.
The grants to GC4 align perfectly with the missions of both the Hanson Family Foundation and MBT Bank, and they are proud to support the cause for quality child care in the region. For their significant donation, they will receive an outdoor bench in their honor, and will be listed as a Patron on our donor wall.
